XBox 360 VS PS3

I saw StunningFlare made a topic on this and then everyone wanted a poll so here it is.

My pick is 360 because the only good games for PS3 are the version exclusives IMO. Xbox Live, though it requires paying, is always more active than PSN and there are more skilled players.

Personally I'm an Xbox man, and I've been on my rant for three to four days now so I'm tired of explaining it so here's my reasoning. PS3 has like no games, sorry, that's what I'm leaving it at...

360 all the way across the sky

I have a PS3 (xxchriso94xx) and i enjoy playing it alot weither which one is better i wouldnt know.. but i have tried xbox and pc, which is still a gaming platform. id have to rank it like this

1. PC
2. X-Box360
3. PS3
4. Wii

that being said, x-box's online gives it the edge to ps3 online. to bad you have to pay for it though.

thats my personal preference of platform choice, dont get me wrong i enjoy my PS3 and the exclusive games it has, however im a very online based player and play alot of multiplayer, removing online game play, PS3 would be my first choice. But in a world where online multiplaying is a great part of gaming today, i think that PS3 is lacking a bit. which is understandable considering free online play.

The only downside IMO is that you have to pay for Xbox Live.. :/ But then GoW 2 was an ownage game and only for X360, and that GoW 3 (coming Feb i heard?) is for X360 and PC. Beat that PS3!

Sure X-Box has exculsives but so does the PS3.. besides GoW isnt much of a great game.. also @ StunningFlare mind explaining why? you hate PS3 fan boies i hate to inform you but there is such a thing as X-box fan boys T.T

PS3 is overpriced, compared to the Xbox 360, and albeit you have to pay for Live, it is worth it compared to PSN... (I've played both.)

Ps3 because little big planet owns every other game on the 360. Who doesn't like sack ppl fighting Nazi zombies and dead planet and brawl and... Ok u get the point.

You realize that God of War was only for the PS3 right? And they already have 2 and 3 out already for about 3 months now?

Well now I look like an idiot... but no, I never saw Gears shortened that way, I've just seen everyone call it Gears for short so I thought he meant God of War.

lol yeah, its a bit confusing i get messed up with acronyms all the time, tbh im sick of console wars, so ive gone the way of PC.. but i still enjoy playing my PlayStation.

Also i think people should take into consideration that the playstation really is a golorfied blueray player and i guess is which it costs more than the PS3 i dont think graphics or power have anything to do with the prices, also @ people saying PS has no games.. that was at the beggining they have much more exclusives now.

Yeah, I rarely play my 360 anymore actually, there's some games I'll occasionally play on it, but I'm mainly a PC gamer now too. I hate the whole console wars thing, it's just too much of a hassle. And I wasn't saying that the PS3 has no games, I'll admit it has some good exclusives, but there's nowhere near the amount the 360 has, but I'm not getting into the wars anymore.

PC's got the edge anyway especially with steam and virtual purchasing. Its just much easier and more accesable.

I really prefer PC over any other home system. 360 is good, PS3 is okay, however the PC is the best. I still like hand helds as well.

Yeah, this is basically what I say, you're not a "true" gamer until you've played PC, you can do so much more with PC than you can with a system any day, true you're graphics capabilities and overall quality might go down if you don't have that great of a comp. But you can do SO much more, my best example has always been the Elder Scrolls games, I usually take Oblivion because most people today know about it, true you can do a lot with the 360 and the PS3, but with the comp you can get the Construction Set, you have console commands, you can do so much more with it than you could with the systems, true you can mod your systems but 1) That's illegal and would be kicked off Xbox Live or PSN, 2) It is SO much harder to do, and 3) You can not mod nearly as much as you could with the computer.

Xbox 360 is FTW because you can play Modern Warfare 2 and Halo Reach on it.

I would go with with 360. Much more better games
